”Alamto, a Reptile Wonderland” Gets Warm Welcome in European TV Channels
During the last Iranian year (from March20,2016 to March19,2017), European TV channels including Ushuaia TV(France), RTS (Switzerland) and rtve (Spain) purchased and displayed the Iranian documentary film “Alamto, a Reptile Wonderland” directed by Fathollah Amiri.
IRIB’s Provincial Broadcasting Center ordered the film and it was produced in Ilam broadcasting center. IRIB Media Trade and Wildlife Pictures Institute’s international department are responsible for distribution of the film.
Also, “Alamto, a Reptile Wonderland “ was IRIB’s highest grossing film of the last Iranian year and received several awards such as statuette and prize of the best Iran’s long documentary film in Cinema Verite Festival and commendation of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU).
Subject of “Alamto, a Reptile Wonderland “ is Reptiles in Ilam Province. Furthermore, it has several offers from Asian channels but still is in pricing phase.
